Our upcoming night of one-act plays, "Act the Fool," featuring the world premiere of "A Game Without a Name," has been cast!  We want to truly thank each of you who took the time to audition and share your talents.  As we continue to grow as a company, we hope to produce larger and more frequent shows and be able to utilize the amazing skills of those who audition for us!

In other exciting news, A Festival of Fools can now process tax-deductible donations through our fiscal sponsor, Fractured Atlas.  Please visit our DONATE page for more information.  When we say every dollar helps, we mean that literally!

Right now our donations help fund rehearsal and performance spaces, costumes, props, training and coaching for our actors (such as dialect coaching and longsword fighting lessons), as well as a fund to provide reduced price performance tickets to NYC high school students.

We'll continue to update as the rehearsal process kicks into gear!

We're looking for men (all ages) and women (18-35) for the following roles in the following plays:

Catastrophe, by Samuel Beckett: Protagonist, Director, Luke
No Exit, by Jean-Paul Sartre: Joseph Garcin
A Game Without a Name, by the Indomitable Impostor: Chorus members (men and women)
Swan Song, by Anton Chekhov: Vasily Vasilich Svetlovidov, Nikita Ivanich

We cannot provide compensation for any roles at this time, but we are a growing troupe and we are looking to build our company with exceptional talent.  We also like to have a good time.

The show will start rehearsing in February and will run April 8,9,10, 15,16,17 at 8 p.m. at The Looking Glass Theatre.  We can work around most schedules for rehearsing, but you must be available for each performance date.

To schedule an audition, or for more information, please contact either Tim (tim@afestivaloffools.com) or Jesse (jesse@afestivaloffools.com).  We are asking that you prepare a 1-2 minute monologue; classical is preferred but not required (please show us your best stuff).
